Yael stone, a New York City-based Australian resident, portrayed Lorna Morello in Orange Is the New Black in 2013. Yael holds a master's diploma from NIDA. Yael had the privilege from a very young age to have worked with the best storytellers and performers in Australia and pioneers within the TV, film and theatre industries. Yael is a well-known actress throughout Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has relocated into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of the Music's production of the play was a huge success. Yael is the co-founder of The Cannery. The Cannery encourages innovative creativity, writing and artistic endeavors through it's Bushwick studio.
